I believe Trump used the greed of big pharma companies to force them to compete on a very short timeline.

In the end, it showed that:

(1) long term lockdowns are not necessary

(2) legitimate vaccines may be developed faster (not the normal 5-10 years slush fund style)

(3) if they all colluded together to slow play the vaccine, they would’ve gotten caught

(4) if none of them came up with a working vaccine, other treatments would have gone mainstream and they all would’ve missed the payday.

(5) having a vaccine forced the deepstate to play their next card: complete removal of health privacy and total control of social interaction (e.g. can’t go to bar or restaurant without vaccine passport etc)

(6) trump’s position to “take it or not, up to you”, forces people to research and make decisions for their own personal health. (This naturally pokes holes in the entire vaccine system from FDA collusion to malicious bill gates genocides to big pharma immunity etc)

in the beginning, I was very disappointed in trump for pushing such a low iq narrative of “vaccine = end of Covid”.

But now I do believe the vaccine narrative spewed by Trump was quite strategic and probably brilliant politically
