I have said this for a long time and it's one key reason why I said I was not leaving, even though she wanted this a year and a half ago. No divorce except for that of adultery, according to the bible.

Thank you. I'm afraid to go to sleep. Worried I might wake up in the wrong timeline again Lmao

We did this evening.

Things we've come up with:

-not dwelling on the past -staying more positive despite any negative situation -focusing more on God and reading scripture together -building hobbies together including her love of the beach and my love of hiking

GLORY!

He certainly does. This really goes to show me exactly what I've been telling myself for so long now - it's not on my time but always on God's time. We pray and don't always have immediate answers. It's important to remain steadfast.

Yep. Said today "I dont see myself with anyone else - ...I can't live without you..."

Havent heard those words in a very long time.

I certainly agree with this. She saw I was in that acceptance phase; building my own hobbies, spending time with myself, with the kids, doing my own thing. Seems like she saw that I was able to move on (after a year and a half) and she realized she didn't want that for us.

reminds me of the revelation verse that says "and his name was faithful and true."

He is faithful and true, 100%. I have prayed about this for a year and a half now and have consistently screamed for the devil to flee this home and that I would never give in.

God saw me through all of this. He put me through the trial. This is now going to become my testimony. I am so beyond amazed. I really don't have words for it. It's the glory of God.

so powerful. during our conversation, when I asked her what made her suddenly change her mind and come to the conclusion, she said she had been praying a lot and just felt like a light turned on and she saw it all differently. She said she's spent a lot of time reflecting.

you're exactly right

please continue to pray, thank you. It looks like this is going to become another testimony of Christ and His almighty power. "God got us through that."

oh my gosh. I think you are right. God was testing me to see if I would remain faithful to him or if I would curse him. Much like how Job remained faithful all through his losses and never gave in to Satan's temptations.

Much appreciated. Yes, I'm carefully planning my itinerary based around climate. I'm thinking I need to go north for now, maybe up into Montana and Colorado until end of October, then down into Texas, Arizona, Nevada, etc. Then back over to Florida. I'd like to go into Tennessee, too, as well as the Georgia mountains, so those might be my first trips. Though it's still pretty hot. Maybe Colorado first then back over into Tennessee come October.

thanks so much for all of your help.

I did spend a lot of time researching the airbags issue on the forums and read several people had their cars at dealerships for weeks just trying to figure it out. Honestly it's not something i'm probably going to be able to solve alone. I'm probably just going to proceed with doing it with the seats folded down. Keep one rear seat in place and work from that seat - with a fold down table. Then have a twin sized bed on one side of the trunk with a 3 inch memory foam and sleeping bag on top. Other side will have a pull out drawer for cooking. Top of that will be storage area to store clothes and things. Starlink for internet. Car fridge will be on floorboard of second row, then power bank and other things will be on a shelf running horizontally across the car (which will basically be above my legs while I'm sleeping in the twin section). Going to have the rooftop tent too, but the car sleep section will be for when it's either a) terribly cold out and the tent is impossible or b) weather is extreme and inside the car makes more sense. Wanted to give myself both options. Would you agree?

AC is yet another concern and I've read about eco wave 2 but then I have to run the hoses out the window somehow. They make an adapter for the sprinter ,but not my vehicle. I've read it's not a good idea to leave the car running for long periods of time for AC. I've found some very small evaporators for $100 each and thought "what if I just buy 5 or 6 of these?" I wonder if that would work. But I'm in high humidity area. And I've read they dont work well in that situation and make things worse.

Honestly I have a lot working against me for what shouldnt be too difficult as I know there's a lot of people that do van life.

Thank you. One major issue I'm having is if I remove the seats, the air bags will not deploy. I have a new ford explorer. So I have to work with a more limited area since the seats have to be down instead of removed. This is causing issues as I originally intended to take out the seats, build a platform, and store all of my things and clothes and stuff underneath the platform. Ran into this issue and now I can't do that. I was originally going to install a composting toilet in the back but, with limited space, I now can't do that. I tried to get things set up the other day with bed, power station, and some other things, and it's ridiculously tight. I think I might build a horizontal platform running from each side of the vehicle that's kind of 'lifted up' above the bed area. Then on that platform I could put my power station and free up some space for cabinets. Really difficult to try to plan all this by myself.

For wifi, I was either thinking starlink or this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08YKB6VMN?psc=1&ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_ct_B6NNV09AY1FGYVT1WCWQ

What do you think about that device? It'll of course only work in areas where there's cell reception.

Maybe both so that I have a backup? Starbucks is a good point, too.

Looks like it to me, too. Wanted to share so mods could see it. No clue how to report it. Everyone can have their own opinion - I can take flak. But telling someone to jump off a cliff and saying "YOU lost your kids" , "YOU are homeless" is next level evil to me.

100% season of trials. Absolutely. Take care of yourself, as well.

Thank you. Sold most of my things before we moved into current place. Cant afford the van but will be doing similar in my SUV. Hopefully it works ... much smaller space but will have to make do for now.

pretty much what I'm doing. Can't afford to get a van but will be doing it in my SUV.

This is something I've actually considered because I heard Montana had much cooler weather. That's a good idea to go from Montana to Texas.

Really? That's really kind of you.

How much? Can you DM me? Happy to send you my phone number so we can chat further.

I had a kind individual, who wanted to remain anonymous, donate $2K to me. This truly, sincerely saved me and changed my entire direction. And quite honestly that was God. He even told me he wanted to tithe and God put it on his heart. Truly made me cry. It allowed me to order my rooftop tent and power station so now i wont have to sleep in the trunk of the suv.

The only things I need now are:

portable ac (eco wave flow 2 , about $1200 with battery) a few solar panels ($300) sleeping bag, blankets, etc ($200ish) cooking gear ($150 ish) car cooler ($200) starlink (currently on sale for $300)

I'm almost there. Five weeks to go (until my lease ends)

Yes! And I saw starlink was discounted to $300 right now. I'm praying that discount stays until next Friday so I can pick it up.
