There's a reoccurring trope in fiction concerning the curse that follows those with perfect future vision or foresight, that they are always disbelieved or mocked by those around them. John the Baptist, the Oracle of Delphi, Nostradamus probably countless other examples. The madman 'touched by the divine' that was more than they could handle.
Being part of milint and knowing even a small piece of the dreadful crimes going on, while knowing that law enforcement is so corrupted that there is no recourse you can raise is a pretty close modern analogue to that curse. No-one to unburden the load you have on your soul that wears you down and crushes your will to live, noone you can speak to about it other than your colleagues who are in the same situation. A horrible fate really. It would lead to incredible team cohesion but total social isolation for all of that.
You can hardly blame the team for trying for a bit of levity to lighten the gloom, whether its star trek , lewis carroll, hollywood movies or anything else. Thank goodness The Great Awakening is here to liberate these patriots and bring justice finally against the untouchables.
I wonder how many decent untainted people this knowledge has killed over the past decades.
That's bullshit, anyone can enact change. Fucking quitters.
