I starting wondering last night whether SCOTUS has any visibility into what's taking place with the military tribunals?

Not giving the justices a pass (minus Alito and Thomas), but is it possible they based their decision, just as you say, on not wanting to give the appearance of bias? Then thinking, military's got this so let's not get involved.

Also super curious to know whether any of them were personally threatened.
