Let's look at this from a different angle. All gov't employees aren't dirtbags, Q has said prior there are more good people than bad. Letting people go home for the holiday puts the regular folks out of harms way for anything that might happen during possible upcoming arrests. Also, which is easier to lock down and control -- 1000's of private homes with children present or a few gov't buildings? One more point is with normal people out of the way at home, people at the "office" feel more like they own the place and can do whatever they want w/o scrutiny or worry of someone stumbling in on something, thus putting them at ease and not high alert
