I think the Bible may be a conduit of meme magic.
That said, it is incorrect to put Trump on a pedestal like some sort of Holy White Knight. Trump is a flawed man, like us. He cheated on his wives in the past, and did all the things a playboy does.
But he was a man in the unique position, time, and place to take up the monumental task of saving the world.
Anyone can pick out a bunch of these and make a big deal out of it. In the Bible too there are instances of extreme violence in the name of God. So, this is more of an exercise in picking stuff to suit a narrative.
You mean like King David who sent a guy to the front lines to get killed merely so he could steal his wife?
You mean like Paul (Saul) who stoned Christians before becoming saved?
I think you over-estimate who the saints were.. they were flawed too.
People keep being shocked when pastors get caught in scandal. There's only one human who is perfect, and that is Jesus.
As for extreme violence, do you mean God flooding the earth to kill everything? Or Jesus whipping merchants in the Temple grounds because they were desecrating it? How about David killing tens of thousands in battle?
Read Revelation, there is the epitome of extreme violence coming in the near future.
Yes, this! A lot of evangelicals and Jews in Israel believe Trump is Cyrus (so do I). The original King Cyrus was a murderer and adulterer but he cleansed Babylon (and built a Great Wall lol) because God chose him for the job.
Kim Clement, Mark Taylor and that ex-Hindu convert all claimed Trump was to be picked as a Cyrus to destroy the Baal worshipers. Interestingly Clement also said 'God' referred to Trump as 'his David'.
All 3 of those guys are adamant that Trump will serve 2 terms btw.
Interestingly, he was also referred to Trump as a 'Joseph' and things will happen in the 'time of Joseph'. Trey Smith pointed out that Joseph was a keeper of the grain store for the people (wealth). Like anyone else I've no idea how this will end, but as the prophecies came true in 2016 I'm going to hang in there and believe that the rest will be fulfilled and Trump get's a 2nd term and vanquishes the Deep State once and for all (or at least for many many years until people become complacent again and they sneak back in).

But often the Bible is used for propaganda of the "everything is holy and pure and beautiful so bow to us and be obedient and give us part of your salary every month so that we have tax-free spending money" kind of thing.
I seriously mean no offense when I say this, however it doesn't sound like you're an actual Bible-believing, Jesus-is-my-savior Christian, but part of a religious social club. I suppose I assumed you believed this way, and it's pretty common in the US, just an observation fwiw.
To clarify, I meant those mega churches, the ones with flash and bling aplenty. Their priority is to amass power, not to do religion. To be fair, it's the same with all other religions too, for example, there are lots of amassing power goes on with buddhist temples in Thailand and elsewhere.
I hear ya. I don't think it's so cut and dry, especially lumping everyone together. There's nothing un-Godly about large groups itself, but I agree money, fame and influence are fraught with temptation for evil for those leaders. Yet they are very powerful in the right hands, and with power comes opposition and slander.
The Bible is heavily used for propaganda by catholics (false prophets) (Wolves in sheep's clothing). Follow sound doctrine is what the Bible instructs.

Look at the Pseudepigrapha and the Apocrypha. These "non-canonical" texts were removed from the final iteration of the Bible at the 3rd Ecumenical Council, for being 'second-order' books. They are still widely-read in the Eastern Orthodox world, and shed great light about the early Christian odyssey, but the Catholic church had all-but-forbidden them (because, you know, 'narrative control').
