Religion has always been about control. Sure it has changed/evolved over the years but the stories areally all the same, fear based. The Bible has been the main tool for control up until technology. Now we are ushering in control using all the latest and greatest technology. We soak it up, loving it, not realizing all that we are giving up along the way.
I believe there's a lot more to the bible that is left out on purpose. We have the power within us. God/Creator is real but all those other things are not.
