Another QRV refugee here, and yeah, that board was definitely infested with scum, shills, bots, and a few folks with deranged theories -- flat earth, concave earth, tranny porn -- and it was not so much distracting as it was off-putting to newbies and took up valuable real estate in the NEW tab. Just trying to find legit posts often meant looking through pages of posts to bypass all the crap. I think the mod(s) there were either lazy or just overwhelmed and could not monitor it properly .... the mods didn't mod.
