Farther back than that. Try FDR. Think Pearl Harbor. Maybe back to Wilson. Why did we really get involved in WW1?. Wilson started the League of Nations which failed but was resurrected as the United Nations. Think of the Federal Reserve hatched out on Jekyl Island and enacted under Taft. How when McKinley was taken out and TR was installed and the progressive movement was started. We need to go way back.
