I'm just over from Voat and I noticed this timeout glitch straight away. I'f I'm on a page longer than, say, a minute then type a comment, it won't save. I have to copy it to clipboard, reload the page, locate the post again, click "Reply" then paste my comment and click "Save".
So there's a 60 second window to fix a comment? Or wait 60 seconds?
I haven't been able to save edits. Had a half dozen comments where I realized I worded something wrong, changed it, and it looked ok, only to find out later the change didn't "stick".
That's a good idea, in general. For example, open a folder named Comments and place it in My Documents or some handy place. Create a desktop shortcut. Then, Open a .txt in Notepad. Name it. Write a comment in Notepad. Copy and paste comments into .win. Do final proofread or edit with help of Grammerly.
When the page is full, drag it into the folder and start another. Get as fancy with this as you please. For instance, you can categorize.
I noticed if I take awhile to type post it hangs. As precaution, before I hit SAVE I copy all the text box, refresh, paste text, and hit SAVE. Works every time.?
Just highlight your text and copy it before you hit save. Then, if it doesn't work, try again. I've experienced and heard from others that if you take a while to post, it can time out.

Sometimes upvotes won’t stay upvoted
This site is built on the .WIN infrastructure and sometimes has problems when TDW gets DDoS'd (or even resists one, successfully).
Comment shows on my personal page but not where it was posted. Same problem as others then.
I think:
Initial Post -> takes about 60 seconds to commit
If you edit your post without those first 60 seconds, the edits will not take

60 seconds for original comments to actually post, Then you should be able to successfully edit.
Thanks for the clarification. Makes sense now.

I am having the same issue.
