Gen. McInerney alluded to this on an interview. He said something happened on election day in 2016 that he can't talk about. I've long heard rumors that trump was asked to run by the military if they could assure him he'd have a fair chance at winning. I fully concur that military turned off hammer to allow an actual free electionm

Bannon said in an interview a few years back him and a group were looking to help a populist president run and Trump fell in his lap and he didn't even think he was serious. Great interview!
