Already have heard from "reliable source'' (Simon Parkes) that Pence did not resign or get fire, at all. One or the other info, resign or not resign, is dis-info.
I believe that Pence has Trump's back and will do what he has to do to complete the win for Trump. Pence was selected as VP to offset the volatility of Trump. Pence had congressional/political experience and could act as a calmer person to work with congress.
