Barbaric? I suspect you have no idea the awful things many of these people have done to a lot of people. And babies. We will probably never know the full extant of it.
There's no way to punish them according to their sins. Only God can do that. A public execution is a warning to others - we're not going to tolerate it anymore.
Nope, we have to make examples of these heathens so no one in the future thinks they can do this again. They have committed crimes against humanity. We now have the options of hanging, electrocution, firing squad, lethal injection per Bill Barr before he left the DOJ. These extra execution methods were brought back not too long ago, at least we were told just 8 weeks ago or so. Hell they could have been brought back earlier and we weren't told about until recently.
Firing squad was added most recently. I think to limit the legal appeal avenues. Lethal injection and electrocution are often challenged as inhumane (ie/ instances of not working quickly or needing a second application). I think big pharma recently cut the global supply of the key ingredient of the lethal injection cocktail (no coincidences). None of these issues are present with firing squads.
Public hangins are for barbarians.
Good. The more barbaric the more punch it packs. No easy outs. Treason calls for hangings. Hang em and leave em for the birds.

Yeah. Hanging by cranes is much pleasing, yemen did that.
Too far of a drop makes a heck of a show....I wouldn't want to be standing underneath it however.
"Bungie Guillotining"?
Would make reloading easier?
