Title. I just really don't understand why he would bother messing with GA if he has everything in the bag already

Two things: He is begging them to do the right thing, even though it might have dire consequences for them. This is the offer of repentance. Second: If they persist in their crime (sin), they will face swift punishment. This is all being played out publicly, so there is no mistaking what is happening. Unlike politicians, Trump is uncovering everything publicly, so there is no question he is on the level. We have NEVER seen this kind of strategy used by anyone in America before. It is the new America!! MAGA!!
