Precisely the objective. Besides striking fear in the bad guys, by him planting the seeds out there, even in a kooky way, when the revelations do come to fruition, it will be easier for the normies to accept them. "Oh Lin Wood was right, he tweeted this a week ago, Wow" etc. etc. It's a psychological move to minimize the shock in the normie pop.
