This solar storm is a very minor one. It shouldn't have any effect except maybe some auroras if you are a high latitude. This sort of thing typically happens many times a year.

See www.spaceweather.com . It is a reliable source I have used for many years.

I think the implication is that they might use it as cover for some sort of power or internet outage.

Ah. If they claim that any science person would know it is utter BS, but then they have gotten away with even worse BS.

My thoughts is it is a Binary event, meaning it will only effect organizations that add something to humanity (1) and won’t impact : Fake News, Twitter, Facebook (0)... basically only hitting Trumps base, or cameras which might send out information.
