I started saying this to myself earlier, so I’m not trying to beat up on you, just an honest thought;
What did you think was going to happen?
A million patriots show up to DC; Trump speaks at 10/11am, quick break for lunch, senate & house do their thing, music starts playing gently in the background, building to a crescendo as VP Pence stands up bravely and gives an uplifting speech about fighting the forces of darkness, loudly declares he is discarding the illegitimate votes from the corrupt swing states.
Loud ruckus ensues, Pence declares Trump POTUS re-elected “by the powers vested in me!”
Lots of wailing and gnashing of teeth, when suddenly, Navy SEALs burst into both houses of congress and arrest 80% of senators & congressmen for treason, right on live TV!
All the Congress critters are perp walked out of the chambers neatly & one at a time so we can get plenty of pics & video.
The whole thing is wrapped up by 5pm and we can all either be home for dinner, or go carousing at the bars.
Is that what you expected?
Is that what I expected and envisioned?
How did we really think this was going to play out and what happened today to materially change “the plan” that we all claim to believe in?
I wrote this post almost more for myself than anything....
Actually, I didn't think anything like that was going to happen. The most I hoped for was that this would get kicked back to the states for reconsideration by the state legislators.
You left out the part about them telling us to stop wearing masks because Covid is fake.
Otherwise yeah your story pretty much checks out.
