Having them vote to certify electors that the states have presented to them will in no way get them charged or convicted. There is only a crime if their is evidence that they were involved. That evidence, if it exist, would have ended this whole charade two months ago. Oh look, we have video and audio and computer forensic evidence..... let’s show the world and maje arrest.... nah... let’s just keep it hidden so we can get them to take office and then we can let them pack the court and take our guns.......16 years later...... boy they are really building up a case against these criminals...gonna be the biggest RICO ever.....
Actually, seven states submitted dueling electors. It is NOT up to Congress to decide the outcome for those states. Article II makes it clear that states will only submit ONE list to Congress. Seven states submitted TWO. Therefore, last night Congress took an authority it is NOT granted by Article II of the Constitution. Each state, per the Constitution, is allowed ONE certificate.
The correct Constitutional procedure is for Congress to have turned it back to the states to resolve this matter given SOLELY to the states. Not to mention, they had Arizona, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Georgia ask for time to investigate and decertify if necessary. This was submitted to Congress in official signed format and Congress completely ignored over 100 state representatives claiming there was fraud and they needed more time (thereby eliminating ANY claim to plausible deniability). Furthermore, in the case of Wisconsin, they notified Congress they would be changing their elector vote for Trump yet it went to Biden last night.
Congress usurped the states powers the way it was handled as the Constitution does not give them the power they assumed last night. As the Constitution is the Supreme Law of the land, it is a felony to act unconstitutionally (and Congress is not protected in the event of treason or a felony).
They don't have to pack the court, the people in there now will do as they're told on any major issue. Also, there won't be any "years later", this is it. If this stands, that's ballgame. I still believe though. Feel free to call me delusional if/when Biden becomes president.

Great explanation.
