The idea was to prevent the scenario where the King of England tried to arrest members of parliament who didn't vote the way he wanted them to. The constitution says you can do that, but it had better be a big crime. Like, you can't arrest them for jaywalking.
TSA held Rand Paul once. Although I don’t think he was on his way to or from a congressional hearing, I remember reading that if he would have been, TSA would have been in violation.
TSA is a violation of freedom anyway, but obviously none of that matters anymore....
