I don't think they meant it figuratively. I think they meant it literally.

People have been drawing comparisons to Trump and the events in the Bible, including Pence betraying Trump.

The only thing remaining is for Trump to be ressurected. I thought it would be figurative as well - it looks like he lost the presidency and then he regains it.

But it might be literal as well - I dont mean they literally execute him. But they will make it look like they did. Remember - "they will take us to the brink of destruction" before Great Awakening can happen.

I think at this point, its for true believers only, because the events would be so distressing most people will give up hope.

EDIT: JUST TO CLARIFY, I AM NOT SAYING HE WILL ACTUALLY BE EXECUTED. But be prepared for the theatre, for it to be faked, to give a glimpse of what happens if left ever gains control again. When it is revealed that he is not dead, it would be a "ressurection" of sorts.
