Well, we obviously know that fact-check is no fan of facts - or Trump. I also don't remember seeing anything from ,fact-check EVER that indicated Trump was ahead in ANY poll, let alone would win the election.

Just earlier today I was thinking how annoying and obtrusive the IG Fact Checking is; now when I just checked, I couldn't find a fact check anywhere, I had to go on the Team Trump account to find one, and there it is: Donald Trump is the projected winner, and it said that on three different images; the only three with fact checks I could find.
... or perhaps Team Trump is "testing" their capability to "take over" the mainstream/social media in order to communicate with us - even after being recently banned from several major platforms?
