To enforce censorship on the client side of a browser, is quite a difficult task, and given the open source nature, this would not sit well with the regular autist crowd.

That is easily circumvented as DNS is a preference. Of course they could totally lock this facility, but then again, it is opensource and easily forked.
It may be that certain addons may be dropped. Big deal. Use a fork.

Consider this. Why would you want to use a browser that completely allows for fingerprinting? The "experience"?
Consider a textbased browser.
Additionally: while you are at it: Question your whole rack. OS + applications + access + firewall + VPN
As soon as you need not input any effort, and it is geared towards experience and ease of use .... and free: You are the milkcow.
