There is a very big difference between logically understanding something and seeing something.
I think if any of us saw any of the pedo images it would probably make us very sick. Even the abstract art work that came out during pizza gate was pretty disgusting and hard to swallow it made people very sick.
Years and years ago there was an anime called Boku that was depicted pedo acts. For a while YouTube had a number of reactions videos to the first scene that was apparently mild. The reactions were basically horror, many people had to stop half way through.... some cried.
This was a cartoon with unrealistic cartoon images. I can’t imagine seeing the real thing.
My personal anecdote about that is the Daniel Pearl video. I know what is shown. I have heard people talk about how awful it is. And I know that if I watch it for myself, I will be permanently changed. I made a conscious decision to never watch that video. And I'm thankful that I haven't.

Has to be. I wouldn’t be able to watch a video of a girl in high heels stomping on kittens... much less someone raping and murdering a child.
