Because deepfakes are the future and will be incredibly disruptive, it would not be out of the realm of possibility that Trump purposely puts out deepfake and altered videos for us to catch and identify as a way of not only collectively preparing us for the future but to also stimulate this interest in us that will lead to great minds in this future tech to rise above and possibly be recruited.

That or due to security concerns / timing / laziness Trump just phones it in and has his team deepfake videos for the sake of convenience.
