Where I'm going with this that how could our system be set up without such a safeguard? If we have it then Trump isn't necessarily up against the clock vs if we don't then he only has a limited amount of time left to make his move.

In 2016 if they didn't find Trump or if Trump didnt step up, they were ready to do a coup.
