I have closed my Twitter account, I'll be closing my FB accounts later this afternoon so my followers will see my note about it and start using my new social media. I don't want to be a part of their platforms anymore. I'm now using Gab.
Gab is the only alternative I've seen that doesn't require you to sign up just to look around a little, although there are others I haven't seen yet. They are Christian based.
They wrote their own platform, own their own servers, have their own app, and no censorship. Due to overwhelming number of folks signing on with them the past few days, their servers are sometimes overwhelmed during the highest traffic times or during their slowest traffic times when most of their users are sleeping, and they may shut a server or two down to make updates.
They are purchasing more servers as needed and have been working day and night to do the updates and install more servers. I expect they'll be really good when they have adequate servers to catch up with all of the sudden new, overwhelming amount of bandwidth they are facing.
They have features similar to both FB and Twitter with video channels available. I like them a lot.
See the video here if you want more info.

I forgot to mention they are very Qfrenlee.
I think my posts from later last night will have me permanently suspended anyway. They've been lying about my posts being not fact-checker friendly and against their community(Communist) standards, and especially the one about election fraud. All for more than the last couple of months, plus temporarily suspending me and such.
EDIT ADDED. Now I know why I've been feeling chills lately. It must be the ghosts looking at me. Never mind that, the temps outside have been in the 30's for a few days now.
To each his own, but I wouldn't ditch Twitter or FB yet. Those battlefields still rage.
Parler isn't long for this world, and since what [they]'re doing to Parler also will be done with Gab, it's only a matter of time before Gab goes, too.
What, then? I understand the arguments in favor of leaving Twitter/FB/Insta, etc, but what happens when [they] effectively crate an internet that WON'T see any Conservative or alternative sites? I'm staying as long as I can. Force these fuckers to ban you. Don't give in without a fight. It fits into [their] arguments about us too neatly and gives them too much ammo. Makes us look weak. Like we're the ones who can't take dissenting opinion.
No, better to confront the monsters in [their] turf, but in our terms. Force [them] to ban us
I still monitor Twitter, I just can't and don't want to post there anymore. You're spot on about Parler, it has never been a very secure platform, dependent on DS servers.
Gab is a totally private enterprise, no dependence on DS whatsoever. They will have temporary issues if the whole internet is blacked out which is bound to happen temporarily at some point in time. Other than that they are solid.
FB is good for ghost research basically.
Besides, it looks like FB and Twitter and Google are approaching the point soon when they will be busted up or dissolved. I really like what I've seen of and can see from Gab.
I did the same thing Friday and like you, I probably got banned anyway because I left with a few choice words for Zuckerberg and his minions.
I have heard good things about Magabook, but I don't want to register with them just to look around a little. They do require registration to enter.
That is not true with Gab. Free for anyone to just look around without signing up. I see the registrar for Magabook dot com is GoDaddy. Unless I am mistaken, that is another possesion of the DS.
Gab has their own servers and wrote their own platform. CEO is good Christian man.
Yes I read the edit. Thank you!
Because people did at one time have to sign up to look at Gab is one of a list of reasons that they wrote their own platforms, built their own server system as well as their own multi-device compatible app.
The only drawback for them at this point I see is their temporary lack of server power that they are working day and night to correct. I forgot to mention that they also have video channels available.
