DC airspace shutdown?

I’m flying from Charlotte NC to Boston MA. The captain just said DC airspace is shutdown and the excuse was covid cleaning. Some shit may be going down. Stay safe pedes

It’s not at all speculation that the National Guard is all over DC. They used the Capitol incident as an excuse to call either 6,000 or 7,000 NG personnel to DC for like the next 30 days or something.

not sure if there are any active duty military involved in this or not.

But 1,000% there’s NG all over DC. Indisputable.
