Gab will likely be a target, but they're too frantic and shitbrained to focus on any one target long enough to bring it down when Trump doesn't want it down.
Yes, they DEFINITELY are.
The owner, Andrew Torba, released a message saying exactly that; they are rushing to get at least 10 more servers online.
JMO: I thought it was a bit weird he said 10 servers, considering they’ve seen like a 750%+ increase in traffic almost instantaneously.
I have no idea how many physical website servers it takes to service, say, 10,000 inquiries to a website like Gab, but I thought that it would take a lot more than just 10 new servers to handle the massive spike of new traffic.
Ya know? Like let’s say they normally get 1,000,000 website visits per day; if that spiked up to 7,500,000; are only 10 servers enough to handle that increase? I dunno.
But again; I’ve got zero knowledge of website serving....so......there ya go.
Last report was they had a 750% increase in traffic over the last couple of days. It's not an attack, their servers are melting and there aren't enough of them
Been happening for a couple of days. Could be a little bit of both. I do know Gab has seen something like a 750% membership increase recently. MeWe has had similar growth of late.
*edit: lots of normie FB expats on Gab and MeWe now too... based on their posts, it seems they have a slight redpill edge in light of the recent events, but they don't really know about the "man behind the curtain" stuff quite yet.

Could be the mass exodus from other SM platforms.
Upgrades?

I wouldn't worry for now.
Just checked, same for me.
They are probably trying to spin up servers as fast as possible.

Massive massive influx of people.

Glad to see I’m right; that’s exactly what I recall reading and what I based my post above on; 750% increase in traffic.
Thanks fren.

EDIT; Sorry for the double post, having some glitches here on this site. :-/
All good here. SoCal
Hopefully maintenance. I could get it to load last night (well, 2am lol) but won’t load today. Hopefully adding servers for the increased traffic.
Signed up but haven't received the confirmation email that was supposedly sent. Now Gab is forever on maintenance mode.:/
JMO, it’s normal and caused by the total stampede crush of traffic of people being banned and leaving twitter for alternates like GAB and PARLER.
JMO......
It’s happenin’ peeps ;)
I've gotten the same all morning.
The attacks continue, boys!

likely the same message will display in either case.
this post doesn't belong here though.
Yes, same here. Not able to access it at all.
