Yeah, if something is stupid there's no need to make a big deal out of denouncing it. When's the last time you saw them put some homeless guy on the news who is complaining about ghosts who says he has magical powers just in order to make fun of him? If they weren't terrified of us (and worried that we're on to something) there would be no reason to lie and attempt to demonize us.
