I work in Western Washington but my bug out location is in Eastern Washington, I work until Tuesday.
Like would the blackout be so bad I can't drive my car? I have my BOB and other essentials on me at all times. My current plan is that if the blackout happens I am hitting the road immediately.
Depending where at E/W Wa makes a hell of a difference as well as the time of day. I've spent some time in the Seattle area and traffic alone is a nightmare on a REGULAR day. Throw in a regional blackout and you probably can kiss that plan goodby unless you already have a back-road route planned which you know won't be congested.
That doesn't even take into account the possibility of military checkpoints if it's that serious (doubtful). All depends on how quickly they get their "package"
