Not sure who these other folks belonged to, but we would constantly have vehicle mounted weapons on any training exercise and that was in Texas. We would cruise those things all the way up to Vegas on down to the border. We did carry weapons too, the biggest thing is... do they have magazines in the well? One thing I do find interesting though, is the actual truck stop. That does seem off. Especially for a training exercise.
If it were a reserve unit I would not think much of it. If it is active duty at the truck stop.. very interesting as if it were just a training exercise heads would roll. It does certainly seem out of place.

And their timing. I get the training exercise thing, but now? You think they'd be particularly careful if this was just a training exercise.
