If you are new here let me start by saying welcome. No lie I am so glad you are curious enough to be reading this.
World seems pretty messed up doesn't it?
People are angry. People are sad. The wicked seem to be getting stronger and everyone you have respected is looking like a bad guy. These are tough days.
Have you ever had that feeling that maybe the media wasnt being truthful, or wondered if the government didn't have your best interests in mind?
Have you assumed if something important was happening the TV would tell you?
Did you just hope someone, somewhere was paying attention because you had better things to do?
Can you accept that the people who pay the most attention might be a bit strange, eccentric, or obsessive?
What personality type would spend hundreds of hour looking though archives, or tracking every plane that flies? There are people who would rather investigate unsolved murders than watch football and Nascar. You may not understand, and you don't have to, but know they exist.
And sometimes they come with a great body of very specific knowledge, but little in the way of social graces. Those who have seen and known things for years exist, and for years they have been insulted and derided at every turn by "normal" society.
Currently we are reading that we are all terrorists or some such bullshit.
And yet we persist. And we are WINNING this information war.
If you want to get real and talk truth, thicken your skin. Some of it is ugly as fuck.
Take anons as they come. Forgive us our lack of normality and gruff, curt dispositions.
We are saving the world, come to terms with it.
Some have been here since well before Q, watching, listening, learning, and waiting for our moment to show our work.
Reporting on crazy stuff doesn't make the reporter a madman. You need to wrap your heads around that right now.
You don't have to believe what we say, you don't have to like what we say, you don't need to respect us, pat us on the back, or refrain from telling us off.
Just please hear us. Consider our words. Use your own dicernment to determine what is worth your attention and what isn't. Research for yourself and verify all you can.
Some have been jumping up and down trying to get your attention for a long time. Now that you are all here I hope you might listen.
Eccentric people doing extraordinary things most can't comprehend is what attracted us all here. It's far more normal than you have been led to believe. Break the programming. Free yourself.
Once you dismiss the impossible, whatever is left might just be true. Be warned, it might be an asshole who helps you see more options. Can you accept help from an asshole?
I am tired of being lectured about banhammers being dropped for the sake of normie appeal. I think we could instead help normalize the very oddities the Q movement has relied on this entire time.
I promise to try to relate to the normies, all I ask is that my right to exist not be threatened daily by our own "leadership"
I put it to a vote. Updoots vs down votes. Should normies be allowed to enjoy the show in all it's random and obscure glory, or must the show be censored and curated to conform to the expectations of "normal (fucked up bullshit) society?"
Is this question a bannable offense?
What does it say that I even have to ask?
God help us all.
I would like to add to OP's well-written post:
If you are new to Q, then you need to come to terms with one thing that you might not have ever come to terms with in your life:
It is possible that you might actually be WRONG about something important.
I'm not saying you ARE wrong; I am saying that you MIGHT be wrong. Yes, YOU.
Many people have a mental block when they are confronted with new information that conflicts with what they currently believe to be true. You MUST realize this is true for you, me, and all other humans. We ALL have this issue to deal with.
We all MUST accept that (a) there just might be some NEW information that we previously did not know (or ignored in the past) that might be CORRECT, and that (b) what we currently believe to be true might NOT be correct.
So ... How do we deal with that issue?
(1) Learn new information.
(2) Realize it conflicts with what we currently believe to be true about the world.
(3) Ask why do I think this is wrong? What is the EVIDENCE that it is right? What is the EVIDENCE that it is wrong?
(4) In what way does it conflict with what I currently believe?
(5) What DO I actually believe that is in conflict?
(6) What EVIDENCE do I have that what I currently believe is true?
(7) Is it POSSIBLE that what I currently believe to be true was learned from someone else (family, friends, school, media), and not something that I PERSONALLY evaluated on my own?
(8) Then -- and ONLY then -- decide which idea makes more sense, and go with that.
It can also be helpful to learn the Rules of Logic, as defined originally by Aristotle. They can be very helpful in sifting through how to go about the process of critical thinking.
If you grew up in the 20th/21st century, you probably did NOT learn how to think critically in school. Instead, you were taught to accept what you were told, and not exercise your own thinking skills. But we all have them. We are all human, and it is how we learn -- even in an age of propaganda.
Here are some ideas on what Logic is, and what Logical Fallacies are. There are other websites you can check out, too, but this is one that popped up on a quick search:
https://patrikedblad.com/logical-fallacies/
And here is a quick article on the logical fallacy you will run into more than any other these days: Appeal to Popularity. This article explains why it is not valid in critical thinking, even though you see it in the media every day (there is a reason you see it in the media every day -- hint, hint -- because it is the OPPOSITE OF critical thinking):
https://patrikedblad.com/logical-fallacies/the-appeal-to-popularity-fallacy/
Logic is the method that we humans use to learn things. People who don't want us to learn things (because they want to control our minds, and therefore control our behavior) will try to keep us from thinking logically.
Ignore them. Think for yourself.
The #1 rule in the Q community is: THINK FOR YOURSELF.
I'm stuck in some shitty middle spot where one is too boring, and the other too busy and hard to follow. I've never gotten the hang of searching and navigating so I've only been to a few places on 8.
Are any boards just chill and not so charged with spiritual warfare? Q made me aware the Chans even existed, prior I thought I was the only one digging for the thrill of the find.
This is a key factor for anyone who wants to gain a better understanding of what is going on in the world. You can't have an ego. You have to be humble. Everyone is wrong about some things, and given how corrupt the establishment media is, most people are wrong about a lot of things. Recognizing that is one of the first steps towards discovering truth.
Great addendum.
