IT pede here. That is a really weird fucking error. It means that the Internet knows that Gab points to Cloudflare, but Cloudflare doesn't know where Gab servers live.
DNS root servers (Google, Verizon, Cloudflare ironically, etc - Know where all the websites live.)
Cloudflare load balancer/CDN (Spreads the website traffic around the world)
More DNS (controlled by Gab)
Gab's root servers (where Gab lives).
That's a simplification. Basically, Parler's #4 was hosted on Amazon so they were able to just take them down. Gab's #3 is broken right now. Which is super rare.

can you explain a little further to the less tech pedes how this is different than Parlers AWS hosting being cut.
