8kun is not down. you just cannot access it through a normal browser. i think the DNS servers have removed the entry for it. you can access it through TOR browser though
8kun via standard WWW is down for me. I was able to access it once yesterday and unable to again this morning. That was trying from different ISP, different DNS servers etc. I would constantly get error connection timed out. I have not gotten onto TOR to check, but I assume its just fine on there.

So, there is this thing called "geographic load balancing" that will return a different IP address depending upon where you are on the planet (which is why I disclosed my general location). 8kun.top is resolving to 203.28.246.1 for me. That server must be fucked. This also means they didn't configure their load balancer correctly as it is supposed to detect failures and take them out of the rotation. What IP address is 8kun resolving to for you? You can open a terminal window and attempt to run "ping 8kun.top" to see what IP address you're getting (alternatively you could use nslookup or dig).
