Something that has been bothering me for awhile. But are we to assume that the Cabal keeps factual records of history, as well as all the events and how they altered it?

Deceit is their bread and butter, and knowing that they might finally lose grip over the world. What's stopping them from destroying all the documents and replacing them with fake documents. I've read accounts of places such as the Vatican Vault that houses many secrets.

The one thing that would make sense is that moles and double agents on our side has copied and tracked many historical events and lies, but I still wonder whether I should put trust in a full disclosure, or take it with a grain of salt.
