Yes. It would have been nice at the actual Alamo, but security would have shut down the entire downtown area of San Antonio. The symbolism/reference is nice, and Alamo, TX is a border town, and he was highlighting the wall...
BEXAR County is hard core leftist, & tried to get the Alamo made a UNESCO World Heritage site, giving the UN control of EVERYTHING for 5 miles, effectively giving San Antonio to the globaliwts/UN. Speaking there would be less successful than holding a rally in downtown Portland or Seattle
