I just had a thought. If the swamp know Trump is going to drop a truth bomb on the 17th, Biden and Co. would expect a huge uprising of angry people to descend upon him on the 20th, which could explain the NG numbers and security.

Except that is part of the plan and order 66 is turned into order 17 on the day. Beautiful image :)

I like your thinking, that makes a lot of sense. Trump is still commander in chief right up until Biden takes the oath and is sworn in. The look on their faces as they realise they’re surrounded and the gig is up... it’ll be the funniest thing ever lmao. Literally. That’d make this wait well worth it.
