If the plan is Military they are not going to telegraph it on twitter. They're gonna act business as normal... you would be terrible at sneaking up on somebody!
If the military is capable of building fake tanks and fake bases and letting fake information be intercepted to fool Hitler and throw him off-guard before invading Normandy, they are certainly capable of releasing information like this to protect a plan that has not yet been made public.
