Can someone explain to me why Trump is pushing the vaccine?

I am somewhat new to this and everything is making perfect sense but one thing that is bothering me is why is the president pushing a vaccine that he must know is likely to be harmful and a not needed risk? Thanks

If vaccine good:Trump is “following science” and they can’t blame him for skepticism If vaccine actually bad: Trump “listened to the science” 100% and “didn’t just tell them, showed them” the problem with the “science is settled” left wing scientism cult
