Has UT had bad storms enough to cause damage?
Wind storm is cited.
Hopefully some locals from UT can clarify
Straight line winds are normally associated with wind damage from a line of thunderstorms passing through. As I understand it, the Covid 19 emergency bill is still in effect for all 50 states and funding for FEMA operations is already approved at 100%. Not sure what this is all about?
Yeah but we haven’t had anything big enough to justify an emergency declaration in the past few years. This is very interesting.
Yes, We called it Hurricane 'Moroni.' (Moroni was a prophet in the Book Of Mormon)
The wind was so strong that it destroyed my brothers Chimney, he's building a new house and the chimney blew over and landed on his roof. He had to file an insurance claim to fix it.
Side note...The Book of Mormon is claimed to be a text of scripture written by prophets on the American Continent. Mormons claim the book to be "for our day." The book talks often about America being a choice land blessed by god, so long as the people remain righteous. If I grow wicked, he will smite them off. It tells the stories of many civilizations on this continent, some were righteous and were blessed, others were wicked and were cursed. One very interesting thing...The Book talks often of "Secret Combinations" that exist, they take very old and very evil oaths to gain power, and they've been around for a very long time. In one of the stories in the Book Of Mormon up mormon, these secret societies fully infiltrate the government and use their power to abuse the people. The book says they commit acts so egregious that they cannot be written. The people humble themselves to god, and they end up destroying the secret societies and cleansing the government, after which they set up a new government with checks and balances by the people.
It's freaking crazy, I grew up Mormon and read the book many times but kind of fell away, but with recent events I've rekindled my relationship with god and have been praying nonstop to deliver us from these evil scum.
