My buddy's wife just told me his unit (Utah) is getting deployed to DC.

She said it's on a purely voluntary basis (interesting), and he doesn't want to go. I told her I think he'll regret that.

From the videos I have so far identified three units deployed to DC:

1st Cavalry Div. US Army based in Fort Bliss, TX (the guy encouraging others in 1:40 min)
Joint Task Force 136.MEB (136th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade) Centurion based in Round Rock, TX, Texas Army National Guard (1:22 min)
42nd Regional Support Group based in Somerset Armory, NJ, part of the New Jersey Army National Guard (all the MP guys in the video)
the last two guys in the video wearing different BDUs are Air Force..
