Oh. I have definitely seen articles that other companies claim to have made significant progress in Quantum Computing.
If it's being made public now, there's a very good chance that our .gov has had & been using QC for at least a decade, maybe much longer than that.
They have been good at keeping certain secrets like aliens, F117, SR71, the stealth blackhawk, etc.
That or these plans have just been in the making for years. Both could be true
Watch Devs the TV series. You’d enjoy it. Try to look past the typical cringe inducing wokeness sprinkled in. The cast is decent, and the story in s1 is great. I binge watched in 2 nights.
They use a quantum computer to accurately calculate future and rewatch the past. That’s not a spoiler.
