The up/down arrows next to each comment allow you to give an upvote or downvote to the comment. If you really agree, or think the comment has merit, give it an upvote.
I don't downvote comments I don't agree with, unless they are detrimental to the discussion or a straight up lie. I tolerate devil's advocate comments (more so if they state they want to promote discussion), but not trolling. That can be a fine line.
