School is only 3 hours a day and my work is flexible. You can break it up and have them work on art projects or Stem Projects while you do emails calls whatever and do hands on lessons during your downtime. It's possible...many homeschool parents post about how they accomplish this on blogs.
We started homeschooling this year and I'm SO thankful we made that choice. It's amazing what you learn about your babies and what they learn from you ?
Rely on your family. Find another family. Pool resources.
1st grade is about 1hr per day of 'book learning' and each grade adds maybe 20min. Depends on the child, of course. If they're all in different grades, use a curriculum like Konos which is topic-based with readings and work adapted for different levels of learning, so you can literally do three grades at once.
At this point, it is about much more than just the facts, what they learn, how they learn to think... it's honestly about their SOULS.
Seriously thinking of home schooling my 3 little ones. The schools in my area are so cucked its sickening
Do it. Our kids get more done in less time x no masks, no indoctrination plenty of outside time and you get to know them intimately.
How did that effect your work schedule? I just dont know how the hell we do it and still work to pay the bills you know what I mean.. its a pickle.
