I have to admit; when I watched the video yesterday the normie part of my brain tried to tell me it was too far fetched. Then I suddenly remember hearing about this POW from back in the day.
When I rewarded the speech, I noticed that when DJT is gesturing, he has a very fixed and focused look at the camera. Like he is making eye contact with you: “pay attention to me here”.
During the rest of the speech he had a different demeanour. His head bobbles around, and he’s expressive with his head movements.
For this brief part of the video, he’s completely fixed and focused on the audience. When he finishes gesturing, he goes back to his casual head bobbling.
He talks with his hands so much, I noticed he was struggling to keep his fingers laced--he was deliberately still so the hand movement would be emphasized.

Anyone else notice this?

Yeah, I noticed that too. I have that same problem, so I pick up on it when I see other people doing it lol.
It's hard to get your hands to communicate something other than what your mouth is saying. It requires concentration.
