pretty sure he wasnt tormented, him being jailed was all about letting him slowly but surely declassify ANYTHING he knew about the enemy.

The case was only dismissed after the president pardoned him. It was a total trainwreck with a very compromised judge.

Also his first lawyers were DS. Total mistake to use those lawyers from the start.

Flynn pleaded "guilty" so he could use that as an excuse to reveal all the crimes he knows about. He was always ten steps ahead of them.
