Most people have no desire to get into the mess that is politics. There's a few people who do get into it to try to improve things. But most of the people who do get into politics are in it for the sense of power. They have no balacing sense of responsibility either.
Psychopathy is pretty much required for the horrible crimes some commit against children. They have no ability to see how they are hurting others.
Not all psychopaths do horrible things. But the people doing horrible things are psychopaths. Or are under demonic influence.

God may allow martyrdom for being Christian to return to this country before the tribulation begins. Certainly the Bible speaks of persecution in the last days, and also patience of Job in waiting for the Lord.
The first return of Christ to rapture His people is not far away now, it could be any day. The scene is pretty much set to allow the tribulation to begin very soon, especially with the peace deals with Israel, and the components of the temple being ready.
