I've searched q drops for the phrase and can't find it so I assume one of us came up with it.
I studied marketing and NLP for a while, and people subconsciously associate these slogans with themselves.
So if you hear "Freedom is coming", your subconscious thinks "yay, I'll have more freedom"
But if you hear "Pain is coming", your subconscious thinks "Oh shit, I'm going to be in pain"
To illustrate by exaggeration... imagine if the slogan was "Pain, suffering and hell are coming". If you continue to hear that, it doesn't make you feel good. Even though you logically know it's not targeted to you, your subconscious processes it before your logical mind and makes it about yourself or "we" as in you and the people around you.
Don't be so quick to turn on your friends.
Not turning on you, just showing it's a weak stance to be put off by the necessary actions to be taken against Evil.
We have a uniting slogan in WWG1WGA, but "Pain is Coming" is a battle slogan, and to be put off by it in such a way is to not be strong enough to carry forward with what needs to be done, that is all.
I have no problem with justice being applied to the cabal, or them being in pain.
Post was simply about the slogan not being clear enough. At a time when I am keeping faith that we should be expecting us to celebrate soon after painfully waiting for something to happen, when I see "pain is coming" I have to remind myself what that means. I understand your point though.
It seems pretty clear, I don't think most of us have to remind ourselves that the pain is for the bad guys. :P
