What part of Article II Section 1 Clause 5 do these people not understand? I’m not an attorney but wouldn’t allowing a foreigner to take control of an entire branch of government be considered treasonous?

I read that he wasn’t a natural born citizen when he was running for office but never could figure out why or how they got away with it.
