Voted just before lunchtime in Tulsa, a good experience. Three ladies ran the polling place and the youngest was 65-70, the oldest looked to be pushing 90. Ballpoint pens were provided to fill-in the ballots in those ridiculous corrugated cardboard pop-up voting booths. One man was filling out his ballot and another casting his as I walked in. There were no WiFi networks that I could detect and no Ethernet cables in sight. I was in and out in exactly ten minutes.

In the late 90s, I worked in broadcast radio with a man named Dave Von Kleist (911 In Plane Site and 911 Ripple Effect). When my shift was over, he’d take over and I’d stay for hours listening to everything he tried to teach me. It wasn’t until 9/11 that I fully grasped what he warned me would happen.

Tulsan here. I wouldn’t get too excited about much of this.

HB 1894 was signed into law May 2007 and it’s made no difference in illegal immigration; it’s still gradually becoming worse where I live. Although, there was a brief exodus when Trump was elected but they’ve since come back, and in greater numbers.

SB 1102 was signed into law May 2009 and it’s probably helped solve several crimes.

HJR 1003 was vetoed April 2009 and we never claimed our sovereignty.

Thank you Jerry Nadler for shitting your pants at the podium while a tuba provides a soundtrack as you waddle away.

Me too. Don’t try to influence me. Present facts, let me think for myself, and I’ll make up my own mind. It’s the same with elections; I don’t vote for a leader, I vote for a representative.

Yep, she’s finally pickled. That’s proof the vodka’s finished burning away what was left of her feeble mind.

In an interview with TMZ after learning Harvey Weinstein had sexually harassed his daughter, Mira, and blacklisting her for rebuffing his advances, he stated "He's going to go to jail. Oh yeah. That son of a bitch. Good for him if he goes, because if not, he has to meet me. And I will kill the motherfucker. Real simple. If I had known it, he would not be walking. He'd be in a wheelchair. This pig will get his comeuppance. The law will get him. He's going to go to jail and die in jail."

That’s heartwarming.

The most recent update was last night at midnight and it was for the motion to dismiss. I’m not able to find an entry stating the motion was granted. Where is it?

A. (Assuming water from the spigot flows faster than water flowing through the narrow connecting lines. But F if the tap is only dripping.)

And why would she rescue only her two kids? They can’t have been the only two children in the room in which they were found. Wouldn’t someone that rushes in to rescue his or her own children herd all the other children in the room to safety as well? Help them out a window or nearest exit and tell them to run like hell?

This is only my opinion but what you’re seeing in this picture isn’t food.

I’d forgotten all about Obama running against Ryan. It’s a stretch but in a way we have 7 of 9 to thank for helping get that jug-eared usurper into the White House for 8 years.

I’m 47,839 but still waiting. My sister was at 76,295 but she got in last week. I’m not seeing a pattern with how this is working.

47,839 and still (patiently) waiting. My sister was at 76,295 but went active this afternoon. Doesn’t seem like it’s first come, first served.

I created an account at 1:30am. The verification email says I'm #47,839 but when logged into the app it says I'm at #127,839. Patiently waiting.

I’m sure some Mandela stories may be collective false memories but a few things happened that convinced me something is different…

No, it was not BerenstAin Bears: it was BerenstEin Bears. I was at my grandmother’s house about 40 years ago in my dad’s old bedroom looking at the cover of a Bernstein Bears book. I didn’t know if Berenstein was pronounced like “Einstein” or “Steen”, a classmate of mine.

The Thinker statue(s)... I always remember it as resting his chin on his hand. Just before Christmas 2019, I was visiting my former boss and her husband and the statue came up in conversation. I googled the image and it was page after page showing the statue resting his forehead on a closed fist; no picture of the chin-rester could be found. This is not how they remember it either as they’d stayed in a hotel somewhere in Europe just down the street from one of the statues. Neither of us could find a picture of how we remembered it.

A week later, I googled the image again and it was page after page showing the statue resting his chin on his hand; it was back to how I remembered it. I called her husband and asked if he remembered the conversation; he did. I told him to search the image online, he saw the results, and laughed, saying “the cabal’s at it again”.

That’s the truth. I’ve been on washed out gravel roads smoother than some of the paved streets in Tulsa.

YouTube’s rolling out an “experiment” to accounts now; soon the total number of dislikes won’t be visible, only the number of likes. It’s already hit my account and I can’t see dislikes anymore (but can still hit the dislike button).
